Fourteen Universities and Companies from ten European countries participated in the consortium meeting of FineSol project on Thursday, November 9th, in Alexandroupoli, Greece. FineSol project aims to offer a foundation on the development of “Assembly of miniaturized PCBs by using low cost hyper-fine solder powders”.

The si-Cluster in collaboration with the University of the Peloponnese organized a seminar within the Graduate Program "Space Science Technologies and Applications". It was held on Thursday, November 10, 2016, at si-Clustrer Building - Building Monumental C.

Prisma Electronics participated in the 11th European Space Power Conference (ESPC 2016), an important International event on Space Technology, organized by the European Space Agency (ESA). The event took place 3-7 October in Thessaloniki, at Porto Palace Hotel and Conference center.

Prisma Electronics attended one of the leading European networking event regarding Space technology, products & services. The ESA Industry Space Days (ISD 2016) took place on 20, 21 and 22 September 2016 at ESA ESTEC in Noordwijk, the Netherlands. ISD 2016 included an important conference section with presentations centered on business opportunities with ESA. During the event, ESA introduced its new Industrial Policy followed by B2B meetings to discover business opportunities between participants and ESA.

Prisma Electronics was invited at the 7th Hydra Shipping Conference to introduce the “Infocentric Operations of ships”, a new model on ship performance management based on LAROS solution. The participants will explore tools and solutions offered to advance the maritime industry and facilitate the transition to the digitalization of shipping. The conference is organized by the Fraternity of the Athenian Hydriots and takes place at September 17th in Hydra, Greece. Registration opens at 10:00 and LAROS solution will be introduced at 12:35.

Most shipping companies loose 3-6% in fuel consumption due to unreliable data coming from heterogeneous sources on board. Significant findings from more than 200 ship installations of LAROS solution indicate that Reliable Data contribute equally in reducing fuel consumption, emissions and operating costs. PRISMA ELECTRONICS will Showcase new features and advancements of its unique LAROS platform at the leading maritime industry trade fair, SMM Hamburg 2016. The fair will take place at CCH – Congress Centre in Germany, Hamburg between September 6th to 9th.
